Why AskTask

Most task apps start from a blank list. Your work starts from someone’s message. AskTask starts there too.

One suite for each part of your work

Tasks, a Brief, files and the whole history for a customer, a project or your own business, all in one place. One suite’s information never mixes with another’s, in the AI too.

A receipt for every decision

When someone asks “didn’t we agree on this?”, open the exact email it came from. Every item keeps the quote it was made from.

Capture from anywhere

Paste text, drop screenshots, take meeting notes, or bring in starred Gmail, Slack threads and comments from your project tools. AskTask sorts them into suggestions.

Ask, with sources

Ask what you tried last spring, what you’re waiting on, or draft a proposal from a suite’s history. Every answer shows where it came from.

Guests, free

Bring the people you work with into a suite. You choose which parts each guest opens and can keep any item Team only. Guests are free on Pro and Team.

You stay in charge

The AI suggests and you decide. Nothing is filed, changed or sent without your click.

No credits, no meters

Your plan includes the AI. You never count credits, watch a countdown or hit a wall halfway through a week.

A suite’s Brief in AskTask with its History tab: messages, answers, decisions and progress updates, newest first
History: every message, answer, decision and update for a suite, in order.

Made by a consultant

AskTask began as a consultant’s own tool for juggling the work of many customers: the emails, texts, calls and Slack threads that each hold a task or a decision somebody will ask about later. It is built for people who do the work themselves, first for consultants and small agencies, and it works for anyone with a lot going on.
